You can adjust the LCD contrast for a sharper and more vivid display, if you are having difficulty reading the LCD.


Please follow the steps below:

  Step1:  Changing the LCD contrast setting
  Step2:  Changing the backlight brightness setting
                (This option may not appear depending on your Brother machine.)

  Step1:  Changing the LCD contrast setting
  

1. Press Menu.
2. Press the up or down arrow key to choose General Setup.
3. Press OK. (For touchscreen models, skip this step.)
4. Press the up or down arrow key to choose LCD Settings.
5. Press OK.  (For touchscreen models, skip this step.)
6. Choose LCD Contrast and then choose Light, Med or Dark.
7. Press OK.  (For touchscreen models, skip this step.)
8. Press Stop/Exit.

1. Press Menu.
2. Press the up or down arrow key to choose General Setup.
3. Press OK. (For touchscreen models, skip this step.)
4. Press the up or down arrow key to choose LCD Settings.
5. Press OK.  (For touchscreen models, skip this step.)
6. Choose Backlight.
7. Do one of the following (The menue varies on your model.):
   

• Choose Light, Med or Dark.
• Press the left arrow key to change darker or press the light arrow key to change lighter.
  

8. Press OK.  (For touchscreen models, skip this step.)
9. Press Stop/Exit.
