If the following print quality problems occur, change the settings according to the type of media being used: white spots appear, the toner is scattered, the output is blurred or the output looks blue.

If white spots appear or the print result is blurred, adjust the Media Current Adj. up to -20.

If the print looks blue or has toner scatter, adjust the Media Current Adj. up to +30.

To change the settings, follow the instructions below.

1. Press the Menu button. The menu screen will appear.
   "Menu 1:System"
2. Press the lower arrow button once.
   "Menu 2:Maintenance"
3. Press the Form Feed/Set or the right arrow button once.
   "2:Maintenance Init NVM"
4. Press the lower arrow button 3 times.
   "2:Maintenance Media CurrentAdj"
5. Press the Form Feed/Set or the right arrow button once.
6. Select the type of media using the lower arrow button.
7. Press the Form Feed/Set or the right arrow button once.
8. Enter the value using the upper or lower arrow button and press Form Feed/Set to save the value.
   i.e) "Plain Paper 2 *"
9. Press the Menu button to exit.
