How to use Auto Power-Off Time
You can specify the auto power-off time in 2 ways.
Also, you can specify the setting for each case of using the AC adapter and using the Li-ion battery.
Using the Printer Setting Tool (For all models)
For Windows:
Use the Device Settings in the Printer Setting Tool on your computer.
For information on starting the Printer Setting Tool, see “Using the Printer Setting Tool”.
For information on using the Device Settings, see “Using the Device settings”.
For Mac OS X (D800W / E800W only):
Use the Printer Setting Tool on your computer.
For information on using the Printer Setting Tool, see “Using the Printer Setting Tool (for Mac)”.
Using your printer’s keyboard (For models equipped with the keyboard)

Select [Settings] in the Home screen using the , , or key, and then press the OK or Enter key.

Select [Auto Power Off] using the or key, and then press the OK or Enter key.

Select [AC Adapter] or [Li-ion Battery] using the or key and set the value using the or key.
- Press the OK key.

- If you connect the AC adapter to the printer after you specified "Auto Power Off", the machine uses the "AC Adapter" setting.
- The default value is "1 h" for the AC adapter and "30 min" for the Li-ion battery.
