The P-touch Add-In is registered in Microsoft Word or Excel, but it still cannot be used. (P-touch Editor 5.x for Windows)

For TD-4T / TJ-4T series:
To use P-touch Editor, download and install “Printer Driver for P-touch Editor” from the [Downloads] section of this website.

If the error still occurs even when running Trust Macro with Microsoft Office 2007, follow the steps below:

  1. In Microsoft Word or Excel, click the Microsoft Office Button image, and then click Word Options or Excel Options.
  2. Click Trust Center, then click Trust Center Settings.
  3. Click Macro Settings in the left-hand pane of the window. If Disable all macros without notification or Disable all macros with notification is selected in the Macro Settings section, the P-touch Add-In cannot be used. Change the setting to Disable all macros except digitally signed macros.
  4. Try using the Add-In function again.

 

[Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013 / 2016]

If the error still occurs even when running Trust Macro with Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013 / 2016, follow the steps below:
 

  1. In Microsoft Word or Excel, click the File tab, and then click Word Options or Excel Options.
  2. Click Trust Center, then click Trust Center Settings.
  3. Click Macro Settings in the left-hand pane of the window. If Disable all macros without notification or Disable all macros with notification is selected in the Macro Settings section, the P-touch Add-In cannot be used. Change the setting to Disable all macros except digitally signed macros.
  4. Try using the Add-In function again.
