My machine skips stitches
- The needle is bent, or the tip is blunt.
Replace with new needle.
- The needle is incorrectly installed.
Install the needle correctly.
- The wrong needle is being used.
Use the correct needle. Schmetz 130/705H - suggested.
- The machine is threaded incorrectly.
Thread correctly.
- The presser foot pressure is too loose.
Turn the pressure adjustment screw clockwise to increase the presser foot pressure.
- The thread tensions are not adjusted properly.
Adjust the thread tension.
