My machine skips stitches

  1. The needle is bent, or the tip is blunt.
    Replace with new needle.

  2. The needle is incorrectly installed.
    Install the needle correctly.

  3. The wrong needle is being used.
    Use the correct needle. Schmetz 130/705H - suggested.

  4. The machine is threaded incorrectly.
    Thread correctly.

  5. The presser foot pressure is too loose.
    Turn the pressure adjustment screw clockwise to increase the presser foot pressure.

  6. The thread tensions are not adjusted properly.
    Adjust the thread tension.
