Can I check the remaining life of my Brother machine's drum?

You can view your current drum's remaining life on your Brother machine's LCD by following these steps.

  1. Press MENU and choose Machine Info. => Drum Life.
  2. Press the OK key.

    • Your Brother machine's LCD will display the percentage of remaining drum life.

  3. Press the STOP/EXIT key.

The drum life on the LCD will only be accurate if you reset the Brother machine's drum counter when you installed a new drum unit.

If you reset the Brother machine's drum counter during the life of a used drum unit, the drum life on the LCD will not be accurate.
