Print a Printer Settings page.

The Printer Settings Page lists the printer settings, including the network print server settings.

Follow the steps below to print the Printer Settings Page:

  1. Make sure that the power cord is plugged in and the top cover is closed.
  2. Press Power(Power On/Off) to turn on the machine and make sure only the Ready LED (Ready) lights up.
  3. Wait for 60-90 seconds for the machine to connect to the network (network-connected models only).
  4. Press Power(Power On/Off) three times.
    The machine prints the Printer Settings Page.

 

  • Node Name: The Node Name appears on the Printer Settings Page. The default Node Name is "BRN[your machine's MAC Address / Ethernet Address]" for a wired network or "BRW[your machine's MAC Address / Ethernet Address]" for a wireless network
  • If the IP Address on the Network Configuration Report shows 0.0.0.0, wait for one minute and try again. If the IP address does not get updated, make sure your Brother machine is correctly set up and connected to a wired or wireless network.
  • You can find your machine's settings, such as IP address, subnet mask, node name, and MAC Address on the settings page, for example:
    • IP address: 192.168.0.5
    • Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    • Node name: BRN000ca0000499
    • MAC Address: 00-0c-a0-00-04-99
