Log on as a restricted user when the Secure Function Lock feature is turned ON.

Follow the steps listed below to log on as a restricted user when Secure Function Lock is turned on:

NOTE: Illustrations shown below are from a representative product and may differ from your Brother machine.

 

  1. On the machine's display (hereinafter called LCD), press Public or user name.
  2. Press Change User.
     
  3. Swipe up or down, or press the Up or Down arrow key to display your user name.
     
  4. Press your user name.
     
  5. Enter your four-digit user password using the keyboard on the LCD. Press OK.
