How to calibrate the Gap/Black Mark Sensor by directly operating the printer
The Gap/Black Mark Sensor sensitivity should be calibrated whenever:
- A new printer is purchased
- Label stock is changed
- Printer initialization takes place
To calibrate the ribbon and Gap/Black Mark Sensor:
To select the sensor for calibration, send the correct command to the printer:
- For the Gap Sensor: the GAP command
- For the Black Mark Sensor: the BLINE command
You can also calibrate by using the BPM (Brother Printer Management Tool).
- Turn off the printer.
- Press and hold the right Selection button, and then turn on the printer.
- Release the button when Sensor Calibration appears on the Touchscreen.
