How do I connect the printer and my mobile device via Bluetooth®?

Use the following procedure to pair the printer with your mobile device:
 

  1. Make sure the printer is on.
    (The Bluetooth setting of the printer is always turned on.)

  2. Confirm the Bluetooth Local Name.
    For details, see the Bluetooth® Connection section of this FAQ: "How to connect the printer to your computer (for Windows)".

  3. Turn the Bluetooth setting of your mobile device on to display the list of nearby Bluetooth accessories that your device can pair with.

    For Apple devices (iPad / iPad Air / iPad mini / iPhone or iPod touch) 
    (For RJ-2035B/ 3035B only)
    1. From the home screen of your Apple device, tap [Settings], and then tap [Bluetooth].
    2. Slide the toggle button to the [ON] position.
    For Android™ devices
    1. From the home screen of your Android™ device, tap Apps button, tap [Settings], and then tap [Bluetooth].
    2. Slide the toggle button to the [ON] position.
  4. Select your printer (Bluetooth Local Name) and, if required, enter the passkey (PIN code).
