The printed image is out of alignment.

Check that you are using the Brother Genuine Thermal paper.

Check that you are loading it properly with the print side away from you.
- Check to see whether the platen roller is dirty. If it is, clean it. (see the FAQ: "How do I clean the Print Head and the Platen Roller?"
