Depending on the original source and how a file is created some files may not be supported when printing directly from a USB flash drive.

Error Code 100

Error Code 1011 - 1014

Unsupported security format for the PDF file   Password required for opening the PDF file	Save the PDF file without a password and try to print again.   Save the file using the "Print to file" feature of the Brother printer driver, to a USB flash drive using a PC. The internal memory of the Brother machine is full.   There is an unsupported command in the file.	Add additional memory to the machine. This may resolve the error depending on the size of the file you are trying to print.   Save the file using the "Print to file" feature of the Brother printer driver, to a USB flash drive using a PC. The PDF file is prohibited from printing with a high resolution.   The PDF file is password protected.	You need rights to remove the restriction. If have it, please remove it, then print it from a computer.   Remove any security lock functions and open the file on a PC.
