Turning on Auto Reduction will automatically reduce the size of an incoming fax to fit the size of the paper in your machine.

Follow the steps below to set Auto Reduction mode ON:

1. Press (Settings).
   
   
2. Press All Settings.
   
   
3. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Fax.
   
   
4. Press Fax.
   
   
5. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Setup Receive.
   
   
6. Press Setup Receive.
   
   
7. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Auto Reduction.
   
   
8. Press Auto Reduction.
   
   
9. Press On (or Off).
   
   
10. Press (Home).

The machine calculates the reduction ratio by using the page size of the fax and the Paper Size setting.

Follow the steps below to verify the Paper Size is set correctly:

1. Press (Settings).
   
   
2. Press (shows size of paper).
   
   
3. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display the paper size options, and press the correct size.
   
   
4. Press (Home).
