How do I connect the printer and my mobile device via Bluetooth® (For Android™ Devices)

Use the following procedure to pair the printer with your mobile device:

 

  1. Press the [Menu] button to select the [Bluetooth] menu, and then press the [OK] button.
    Select [On].

  2. Use your mobile device to display the list of nearby Bluetooth accessories that your device can pair with.
    1. From the home screen of your Android™ device, tap Apps button, tap [Settings], and then tap [Bluetooth].
    2. Slide the toggle button to the [ON] position.
  3. Select your printer’s model name and, if required, enter the passkey (PIN code).
  • You can change the printer’s network settings by connecting the printer to a computer and using the Printer Setting Tool (refer to the FAQ: "Using the Printer Setting Tool (for Windows)").
  • The printer's passkey is the last four digits of its serial number by default. You can find the serial number label on the back of the printer.
  • The Bluetooth connection settings are saved even after the printer is turned off.
  • For connecting the printer and your mobile device with Wi-Fi® (RJ-2050/2140/2150 only), refer to the FAQ: “How can I connect the printer to my mobile device via Wi-Fi® ?
