The printed image is out of alignment.

  • Check that you are using the Brother Genuine Thermal paper.
     
  • Check that you are loading it properly with the print side away from you.
     
  • Check to see whether the platen roller is dirty. If it is, clean it. (see the FAQ: "How do I clean the Print Head and the Platen Roller?"
