How do I disable the APIPA protocol?


To disable the APIPA protocol do the following:

  1. Switch the printer off.
  2. Switch the printer on holding down the "Go" button

  3. Wait until the Toner LED is lit.

  4. Depress the "Go" button and press it again. The Drum LED will light, the Paper LED will light, then the Status LED will light orange.

  5. Continue to depress the "Go" button until the "Status" LED changes to Green.

  6. Depress the "Go" button.

 

APIPA protocol is now disabled.
