The "Fabric Seam Allowance" distance indication changes when lowering the presser foot after positioning the fabric in edge sewing function.
| Is the folding line rising? | |

Iron the folding line and make it tight.
|

| Is the fabric wrinkled? | |
|
Get the wrinkles ironed out and square up the fabric.
|

| Was the fabric floating from the table when you set the position? | |
|
Reposition the fabric not to float from the table.
|
