When I turn the Power ON, I always have to re-enter Date and Time. What can I do?
For this Brother series date and time are generated and stored on the main board. If you disconnect the machine from power supply for a long time, the machine cannot keep realistic time. We recommend that you keep the machine connected to the power supply all the time. If you have to disconnect the machine from power supply, for example over night or over the weekend, the machine probably will display wrong date and time.
After initial setup we recommend that you leave the equipment turned on and connected to the power supply for a couple of days. Only then can the battery inside the machine be fully charged and give full performance.
