How do I store received faxes in memory?
If you set Fax Storage to ON, your FAX/MFC will hold all incoming faxes in memory until either you opt to print or delete them. The LCD will indicate when you have a fax stored in memory. Additionally, if there is paper in your machine and Fax Storage is enabled, then your FAX/MFC will automatically print each fax as it is received into memory. This is a safety feature to ensure that you will have a backup copy of each fax in case the machine loses power and the messages are lost.
To turn Fax Storage ON, please follow these steps:
- Press Menu.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Fax and press OK.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Remote Fax Opt and press OK.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Fwd/Page/Store or Forward/Store and press OK.
- Use the Up or Down arrow key to choose Fax Storage (or Off if you wish to disable Fax Storage). Press OK.
- Press Stop/Exit.
If your received faxes are not printing, make sure Fax Storage is turned Off.
