• Depending on your machine, you can find the serial number on the machine's base or back, or inside the machine under the tape cassette. The serial number consists of 9 digits or 15 characters.
• If your serial number consists of 9 digits, you must enter all of the digits.
• If your serial number consists of 15 characters, you must enter only the last 9 characters. (If the serial number includes the "-" symbol, enter the last 9 characters that come after the symbol.)

For example, if the serial number is E00000A1B23C567 (not including the "-" symbol), enter the last 9 characters as follows: "A1B23C567".

If the serial number is E00000-A1B23C456 (including the "-" symbol), enter only the last 9 characters "A1B23C456".

NOTE: You must enter uppercase and lowercase letters exactly as they are shown.
