What do the indicator lights mean?

Power LED indications

The indicators light and blink to indicate the printer's status.
The following symbols are used in this FAQ to explain the meaning of the different indicator colours and patterns.

Green lit / Orange lit / Red lit Indicator is lit in the colour shown
Green blinking / Red blinking Indicator is blinking in the colour shown
LED Colour Description
Green lit Power is ON.
Green blinking

- The printer is downloading data from a computer.

- The printer is paused.

Orange lit The printer is removing data from memory.
Red lit The Print Head is open or there is a Cutter error.
Red blinking There is a printing error, such as "Paper Empty", "Paper Jam", "Ribbon Empty", or "Memory Error".

* Thermal Transfer mode (ink ribbon) is not supported.
