Outline of viewing the LCD Screen

 

When the power is turned on, the LCD comes on, and the following screen is displayed.

The screen is changed using the keys below the LCD.

No. Display Item Name Explanation
(1) img03 Stitch category

Shows the category of the currently selected stitch pattern.

img04 :  Preset utility stitch
img05 :  Utility stitch
img06 :  Decorative stitch
img07 :  Character stitch (Gothic font)
img08 :  Character stitch (Handwriting font)
img09 :  Character stitch (Outline)
img10 :  Character stitch (Japanese font)

 

(2) img11 Presser foot

Shows presser foot to be used. Before sewing, install the presser foot indicated here.

img12 Zigzag foot "J" img13 Blind stitch foot "R"
img14 Monogramming foot "N" img15 Button fitting foot "M"
img16 Overcasting foot "G" img17 Side cutter "S"
img18 Buttonhole foot "A"  

* The symbols for certain presser feet, such as zipper foot "I" and the quilting foot, may not appear in the screen.

(3) img19 Single/repeat sewing

Shows single or continuous patterns sewing mode setting.

img20 :  Single sewing mode
img21 :  Repeat sewing mode
(4) img22 Reinforcement priority Shows that reinforcement priority has been set to " img23 ".
(5) img24 Width control

Shows that the stitch width can be adjusted using the sewing speed controller.

(6) img25 Needle position setting

Shows single or twin needle mode setting, and the needle stop position.

img26 :  Single needle/down position
img27 :  Single needle/up position
img28 :  Twin needle/down position
img29 :  Twin needle/up position
(7) img30 Initial needle position

Shows either "1 Straight stitch (Left)" or "3 Straight stitch (Middle)" as the utility stitch that is automatically selected when the machine is turned on.

img32 :  Straight stitch (Middle)
(8) - Stitch number Shows the number of the currently selected stitch pattern.
(9) img33 Automatic thread cutting Shows automatic cutting for both the upper and the bobbin threads after sewing.
(10) img34 Automatic reverse/reinforcement stitching Shows automatic reverse or reinforcement stitching after a stitch pattern is sewn.
(11) img35 Stitch length

Shows the stitch length of the currently selected stitch pattern.

When img36 is displayed around img37 , the stitch length is set to the default value.

(12) img38 Stitch width

Shows the stitch width of the currently selected stitch pattern.

When img39 is displayed around img40 , the stitch width is set to the default value.

(13) - Total number Shows the total number of characters that are being combined.
(14) - Position number Shows the position of the selected stitch number.
