I cannot scan from the bundled application (Presto! BizCard or PageManager). (Macintosh)

I have upgraded my Macintosh to OS X 10.9, and now I cannot scan using the Image Capture software.

OCR feature does not work.

My computer does not recognize the scanner when it is connected via the USB cable.

When I press "Scan" in my scanning software, an error message appears: "Please install scanner" or "The scan was aborted because the scanner is not powered on or not connected properly".

My scanner is connected but it will not feed my document or do anything else.

I installed the Full Driver & Software Package, but some applications were not installed. (For Windows 10)

Duplex scanning cannot be performed.
