FAX-2820
FAQs & Troubleshooting |
You can use your Brother machine's Fax Forwarding feature to forward the faxes you receive to another location. When you choose Fax Forward, your machine stores the received fax in the memory. The machine will then dial the fax number you've programmed and forward the fax message.
To set up Fax Forwarding follow the steps listed below:
If you program the Brother machine to forward your faxes to a One-Touch or Speed Dial location that is programmed as a Group, then your faxes will be forwarded to every number stored in that Group.
If you turn the Backup Print feature on, your Brother machine will print a copy of the fax as it is received in addition to forwarding it to the designated number. This is a precaution in case there is a problem with the receiving machine or a power outage occurs before the fax is forwarded. In the event of a power outage, faxes in your Brother machine's memory will be deleted.
