I tried to open a .png image file in the PE-DESIGN application such as Layout & Editing, Design Center, Programmable Stitch Creator, Font Creator or Stitch Design Factory, but unexpected colors appear in the background of the imported image data.

When importing an image in Portable Network Graphics (PNG) format with background transparency, unexpected colors may be displayed in the area containing transparency information of the image.

Using the commercially available image editing software, edit the image data to remove the transparency information of the image and save again. Then, open the converted image file in the PE-DESIGN application.
