The error message Insufficient Ink indicates that the ink cartridge is at the end of its life. The machine will stop all print operations. Replace the ink cartridge.

The printer's ink cartridge uses both Black ink and Pre-coat to ensure print quality. Therefore if either the Black ink or the Pre-coat runs out, the cartridge can no longer be used and the printer cannot print, even if there is some of the other ink remaining in the cartridge.
