How to clean the Print Head

Clean the Print Head when changing the label roll.

  • Always turn off the printer before cleaning the Print Head.
  • Allow the Print Head to cool down for at least one minute.
  1. Turn off the printer.

  2. Press the Media Compartment Cover Release Tab and lift the Media Compartment Cover.

  3. Wipe the Print Head (1) with a cotton swab (3) dipped in isopropyl alcohol or ethanol.

  4. Gently press down on both sides of the Media Compartment Cover, and make sure it is securely closed.
