Confirm that a FAX I sent was received correctly.
You can use the Transmission Verification Report and Fax Journal (Activity Report) as confirmation that you sent a fax.
You can use the Transmission Verification Report as proof that you sent a fax. This report lists the receiving party's name or fax number, the time and date of transmission, duration of transmission, number of pages sent, and whether or not the transmission was successful.
There are several settings available for the Transmission Verification Report:
Follow the steps below to program the Transmission Verification Report:
If your machine displays the All Settings menu on the Home screen, skip the Settings menu.
If you select On (+Image) or Error only (+Image), the image will not appear on the Transmission Verification Report if Real Time Transmission is set to On. The image will not appear on the report when you send a color fax.(Only available for some models)
You can also use the Fax Journal (activity report) which lists the last 200 incoming and outgoing faxes. (TX means Transmit, RX means Receive)
You can set the machine to print a Fax Journal at specific intervals (every 50 faxes, 6, 12 or 24 hours, 2 or 7 days).
Follow the steps below to set the report interval:
If your machine displays the All Settings menu on the Home screen, skip the Settings menu.
The machine will print the report at the selected interval and then erase all fax jobs from the Journal's memory. If the memory becomes full with 200 jobs before the time you selected has passed, the machine will print the Journal early and then erase all fax jobs from the memory. If you want an extra report before it is due to print, you can print it without erasing the jobs.
The machine will print the Journal when the machine has stored 50 fax jobs.
You can print the Fax Journal report on demand by following the steps listed below. Please note that printing the Fax Journal report in this manner will NOT erase the call data in your Brother machine's memory.
Follow the steps below to print the Fax Journal report:
If your machine displays the All Settings menu on the Home screen, skip the Settings menu.
