Cannot Scan ##

The machine has a mechanical issue.

Remove the document.

Press and hold (Power) to turn the machine off, and then turn it on again.
If the issue continues, call Brother customer service.

If your Brother machine has 2-Sided(Duplex) Scanning feature:
The document is too long for 2-sided(duplex) scanning.
Press (Cancel). For 2-sided(duplex) scanning, use A4, Letter, Legal or Folio size paper.
Other paper must be within the following size:
Length: 147.3 to 355.6 mm (5.8 to 14.0 in)
Width: 105 to 215.9 mm (4.1 to 8.5 in)
If your machine has FAX function:
We recommend transferring your faxes to another fax machine or to your computer before turning off the Brother machine.
