My printed documents are incomplete or a blue screen appears when printing or using PC-FAX after a Windows 10 update (March 2021)

Certain Windows 10 updates distributed by Microsoft in March 2021 may cause the following issues:

 

  • Parts of your printed documents or PC-FAX jobs are missing
  • A blue screen appears on your computer screen when you try to print

To be able to print again and use PC-FAX on your Brother machine, click the KB[version] update link for your Windows 10 version to download the correct patch file provided by Microsoft™: To be able to print again and use PC-FAX on your Brother machine, do the following:

To check your Windows 10 version, click Start > Settings > Update & Security > View update history.
