I cannot print via USB on Ubuntu 20.04 or later or on its derivative (Linux)
To be able to print, do one of the following:
If you have one Brother machine

Make sure that the machine is turned on.

If you have already installed the Brother printer driver, uninstall them.

Connect the machine to your computer using a USB cable.

Run the following command using the command line to install the downloaded patch:
dpkg -i brotherlegacyusb-pt-1.1.0-0.all.deb

Disconnect the USB cable from your machine, wait a few seconds, and then reconnect the USB cable.

Install the Brother printer driver again.
If you have multiple Brother machines

Make sure that the machines are turned on.

If you have already installed the Brother printer drivers, uninstall them.

Connect the machines to your computer using USB cables.

Run the following command using the command line to install the downloaded patch:
dpkg -i brotherlegacyusb-pt-1.1.0-0.all.deb

Disconnect the USB cables from the machines, wait a few seconds, and then reconnect the USB cables.
