To clear the display,

1. While holding down , press .


2. Press or to select either TXT&FORMAT or TEXT ONLY.
   
   When TXT&FORMAT is selected, all of the text is erased and all format functions (Font, Size, Width, Style, Underline, Frame, Tape margin, Alignment, Tab length, Mirror printing and Length) are returned back to their default settings.
