To remove characters to the left of the cursor's current position:

1. Press the Backspace key ( ) until all of the characters you wish to delete are removed.

To delete all of the text:

1. Press the Code key ( ), then the Backspace key ( ).
2. Press the top arrow key (  ) or the bottom arrow key (  ) to select either of these:

    

   • TEXT ONLY - to erase just the text
   • TEXT&FORMAT - to erase all of the text and return all formatting functions to their default settings
3. Press the Return key ( ).
