My brother machine will not stop ringing when it is not in use.

If your Brother machine won't stop ringing when it is not in use, follow these steps:
 

  1. Unplug the telephone cord from your Brother machine.
  2. Unplug the telephone cord from your telephone system.
  3. If you have telephone service, contact your telephone provider for assistance.
