How do I set up a group for broadcasting faxes?
Groups allow you to send the same fax message to multiple numbers (a process called broadcasting). You can store the Groups on your One-Touch keys or Speed Dial locations, and then broadcast by pressing only one One-Touch key or Search/Speed Dial, #, the three-digit Speed-Dial location, and Start.
First, you'll need to store each fax number you wish to include in your Group as either a One-Touch or Speed Dial number. Then, you can combine these numbers into a group. Finally, you can have up to eight Groups, or you can assign up to 219 numbers to one large Group. Each Group uses one One-Touch key or Speed Dial location. To set up a Group, please follow these steps:
Press Menu/Set, 2 (Fax), 3 (Set Quick-Dial), 3 (Setup Groups).
To include One-Touch and Speed Dial numbers in the group, enter them as if you were dialing. Enter the numbers you wish to place in this Group one after the other.
You can print a list of all the One-Touch and Speed Dial numbers you have stored on your machine. The Quick-Dial list provides the names and numbers stored in One-Touch and Speed Dial memory in numerical order. On this list, Group numbers will be marked in the "GROUP" column.
To print the Quick-Dial list, simply press Reports, 3 (Quick-Dial).
