To delete the letters one by one:

1. Press the Backspace key (  /  ).

To delete all text and settings:

1. Press the Clear key ( [Clear] /  ).
2. Select [Text&Format] with the Cursor key (  ).
3. Press the Enter (  ) or [OK] key.

To delete text only:

1. Press the Clear key.
2. Select [Text Only] with the Cursor key.
3. Press the Enter or [OK] key.
