Since multiple objects are overlapped or complicated, I cannot select desired object even though I put the mouse cursor on and click the object that I want to edit.

Select the object by using Tab key.

Click (Select tool) in the Tool box.
Press Tab key on the keyboard to select an object.
Each time you press the Tab key, the selected object will move to another one.
Keep pressing Tab key until your desired object is selected.
