Cause

This message is displayed when an erroneous operation is performed as follows.

• The Start/Stop button is pressed while a stitch other than the buttonhole or bar tack stitch is selected and the buttonhole lever is lowered.
• The Reverse/Reinforcement stitch button is pressed while a stitch other than the buttonhole or bar tack stitch is selected and the buttonhole lever is lowered.
• The foot controller is pressed while a stitch other than the buttonhole or bar tack stitch is selected and the buttonhole lever is lowered.

Solution

Raise the buttonhole lever before continuing the operation.
