The printed image is out of alignment.
- Check that you are using the Brother Genuine Thermal paper.
- Check that you are loading it properly with the print side away from you.
- Check to see whether the platen roller is dirty. If it is, clean it. (see the FAQ: How do I clean the Print Head and the Platen Roller.
