How do I clear the message "No Paper" from the display?
-
Verify the scrolling message displayed at the bottom of the LCD. This will specify which tray is experiencing the problem: MP Tray, Tray1 or Tray 2.
-
Verify there is paper in the tray specified in the scrolling message:
-
If paper is loaded in the tray continue to STEP 3.
-
If there is no paper in the tray, load the paper by following the instructions listed below:
-
While pressing the blue paper-guide release levers, slide the side and back paper guides to fit the paper size you are loading in the tray. Make sure the paper-guides are set to the correct paper size. The guides should only hold the paper in place without actually applying pressure.
-
Fan the paper well to avoid paper jams or misfeeding and then load the paper in the tray.
-
Do not overfill the tray.
-
The maximum paper levels of Tray 1 and Tray 2 are marked on the right paper-guide with a red line with three arrows pointing at it.
-
The maximum paper level of the MP Tray is marked on the left and right paper-guides with a line with an arrow pointing at it.
-
-
Remove the paper tray from the machine and verify that the paper-guides are set to the correct positions marked on the tray for the paper size being loaded. The guides should only hold the paper in place without actually applying pressure.
-
Install the paper tray firmly back into the machine.
