How to clear "PRINTHEAD OVERHEATED WAIT TO COOL" Error?

This error would occur if the printhead on the FAX overheated when printing large quantities of pages or pages with excessive dark backgrounds.
To clear the message, unplug the power cord for approximately 30 minutes to allow the FAX to cool down. After approximately 30 minutes, plug the power cord in and print the help list to test.

 

To print the help list:

  1. Press the Copy/Reports key.
  2. Press the up or down navigation key until HELP LIST appears and press Menu/Set.

If the message continues to appear on the display, please contact the Brother office in your country.
