When printing on glossy paper, make sure you select Photo Paper (Brother BP71 Photo Paper/ Brother BP61 Photo Paper/ Other Photo Paper) as the Media Type in the printer driver:

• Windows
• Mac

NOTE: The screens on your computer may vary depending on your operating system.

Windows

1. Click Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers
2. Right-click your printer icon and select Printing Preferences...
3. In the Basic tab, select Photo Paper (Brother BP71 Photo Paper/ Brother BP61 Photo Paper/ Other Photo Paper) for the Media Type.
4. Click OK..

Mac

1. Click File > Print.
2. Click the disclosure triangle next to the Printer pop-up menu.
    
   
   

    

    

3. Select Print Settings in the Print dialog box.
    
   

    

4. Click the Media Type pop-up menu.
5. Select Photo Paper (Brother BP71 Photo Paper/ Brother BP61 Photo Paper/ Other Photo Paper).
