Join an online meeting

Please follow the steps below to join an online meeting:

You do NOT need an OmniJoin account to click into a meeting. Only the meeting host has to have an OmniJoin account.
We recommend using wired internet connections.

1. From Email Invitation or Meeting URL Host Sent You
2. From Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM (if applicable)
3. From Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM via Invitation

1. From Email Invitation or Meeting URL Host Sent You

Click the meeting URL or copy and paste that into web browser.
The join meeting page will appear, click the Launch OmniJoin button. Depending on your browser, the launch process may differ. More details below.

For Internet Explorer 7.0 or later
Click Launch OmniJoin and follow the prompts to download the executable file.
Click Install OmniJoin if you are a Windows XP user.
1. Click Run when this prompt appears.
- Click More info if this prompt appears. (Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11.0.27 user)
  
  Click Run anyway when this prompt appears.

1. Click Yes when this prompt appears.
  (This prompt may not appear according to your computer setting.)
2. Confirm the description and click Accept.

For Google Chrome™
The screens may differ depending on your operating system.
Click Launch OmniJoin and follow the prompts to download the OmniJoin extension for Google Chrome™.
These prompts will step you through the Google Chrome™ extension and OmniJoin launcher installation as fast as your bandwidth permits -- usually in less than a minute.
Please note that except for occasional updates, joining subsequent OmniJoin online meetings with Google Chrome™ does NOT require re-downloading these components.
1. Click Install.
2. Click ADD TO CHROME.
3. Click Add extension.
4. Go back to the Launch OmniJoin page and click Download in STEP 2.
5. Click ChromeLoader.exe when the download completes.
6. Click Run if this prompt appears.
7. Click Yes if this prompt appears.
8. Click Next.
9. Confirm and, if you agree, click Accept.
  - If you do not want to install a Chrome extension or you have any difficulty with the steps above, please click the Install OmniJoin hyperlink as seen below to manually install the OmniJoin conferencing client, and then join the meeting.
  - macOS 10.15 users
    A security dialog box may appear during the installation.
    
    To complete the installation, click OK and then follow the on-screen instructions to install the OmniJoin launcher and the OmniJoin Conferencing Client manually.
For Mozilla Firefox
Click Launch OmniJoin and follow the prompts to download the OmniJoin extension for Mozilla Firefox.
1. Click Install.
2. Click Allow.
3. Click Install.
4. Click OK.
  
  Click Continue if this prompt appears.　
5. Click Download.
6. Click Save File.
7. Click Run when this prompt appears.
8. Click Yes when this prompt appears.
9. Click Next.
  
  macOS 10.15 users
  A security dialog box may appear during the installation.
  
  To complete the installation, click OK and then follow the on-screen instructions to install the OmniJoin launcher and the OmniJoin Conferencing Client manually.
For Safari
For Safari 12
For Safari 11 or earlier
For Safari 12
1. Click Launch OmniJoin.
2. Click CCXSetupdmg when the download completes. Double-click the Install omniJoin.pkg icon.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
4. If a security dialog box appears, enter your password.
5. Click Close.
6. Select the check box in the bottom-left corner, and then click Continue.
7. Select the OmniJoin Extension check box.
8. Read the terms of service and privacy policy information, and then click Accept.
For Safari 11 or earlier
1. Click Launch OmniJoin.
2. Click LoaderOSX.dmg when the download completes. Double-click the LoaderOSX Setup.pkg icon.
3. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.
4. If a security dialog box appears, enter your password.
5. Click OK when this dialog box appears.
6. Click Close and restart your browser.
7. Access your meeting URL once again, and then click Launch OmniJoin.
8. Click Trust when this security dialog box appears.
9. Read the terms of service and privacy policy information, and then click Accept.

2. From Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM (if applicable)

Open Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM.
Select Meet Now from side menu.
Enter the Meeting ID and password (if meeting is password-protected) in the Join an Existing Meeting.

Please contact the meeting host for the meeting ID and password.
Click Join Now.

3. From Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM via Invitation

You receive invitaions while you are in the Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM.

If the meeting host sends an invitation using Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM, invitation prompt will be appeared on your active screen.
Please click Accept.
