There may be some dust on the print head. Clean the print head as follows:

1. Turn off the machine's power.


2. Open the back cover.


3. Remove the tape cassette and the batteries.


4. Gently wipe the print head with a dry cotton swab.


5. Use the cotton swab to wipe up and down along each roller while rotating them with your finger.
