To clear the display,

1. Hold down the Shift key and press the "BS" key.
   The text and format (design of the label) is cleared.
   
   or

1. Press and press until "AllClear" is displayed.
2. Press and "Clear?" is appears on the LCD.
3. Press . The text and format (design of the label) is cleared.
