The power button does not light up or flash.

Check that the power supply cord is connected to the back of the QL-500/QL-550 and plugged in.

If the cord is plugged in, try to plug it into a different electrical outlet. The one currently plugged into might not work.

If the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet strip, make sure the strip is turned ON.
