Change or delete a Group stored at a One Touch/Speed Dial.
Please follow one of these steps to change or delete a Group.
SECTION A: CHANGING OR DELETING A GROUP STORED AT A ONE TOUCH LOCATION
You can change or delete an existing Group that is stored on a One Touch number by following these steps:

Press MENU and choose Fax => Set Auto Dial or Set Quick Dial => Setup Groups.

Press the ONE TOUCH key with the Group you want to change or delete. Your Brother machine's LCD will display the Group name or number stored at that One Touch location with the message "1. Change 2. Exit".

Press 1.
-
Do one of the following:
-
To store the Group with the existing number, go to STEP 5.
-
Enter a new number to add it to the Group:
-
To add a One Touch number, press the One Touch key it is stored on.
-
To add a Speed Dial number, follow these steps:
-
Press the SEARCH/SPEED DIAL key.
-
Use the dial pad to enter the location (Speed Dial number) where want to add is stored on.
-
Press the SET key.
-
To erase the Group, repeatedly press the CLEAR key until all its numbers are deleted.

To erase one One Touch or Speed Dial number from the Group, follow these steps:
-
Press the LEFT OR RIGHT ARROW key to position the cursor where under the character you want to delete.
-
Press the CLEAR key to delete the character.
-
Press the SET key.
-
Do one of the following:
-
If there is no existing Group name and you do not want one, go to STEP 7.
-
If there is no existing Group name, you can use the dial pad to enter one. The name can be up to 15 characters long.

To store the Group with the existing name, go to STEP 7.

If there is an existing Group name, you can follow these steps to change it:
-
Press the LEFT OR RIGHT ARROW key to position the cursor where you want to insert a new character.

Type the character you want to insert.
-
If there is an existing Group name, you can follow these steps to delete it:

Press the LEFT ARROW key to position the cursor at the beginning of the Group name.
-
Repeatedly press the CLEAR key to delete the Group name.
-
Press the SET key.
-
Do one of the following:
-
To change, delete, or store another Group, go back to STEP 2.
-
To finish changing or deleting a Group, press the STOP/EXIT key.
SECTION B: CHANGING OR DELETING A GROUP STORED AT A SPEED DIAL LOCATION
You can change or delete an existing Group that is stored on a Speed Dial number by following these steps:

Press MENU and choose Fax => Set Auto Dial or Set Quick Dial => Setup Groups.

Press the SEARCH/SPEED DIAL key.

Use the dial pad to enter the location (Speed Dial number) where want to change or delete. The LCD will display the Group name or number stored at that Speed Dial location with the message "1. Change 2. Exit".

Press 1.

Do one of the following:

To store the Group with the existing number, go to STEP 6.

Enter a new number to add it to the Group:
-
To add a One Touch number, press the One Touch key it is stored on.

To add a Speed Dial number, follow these steps:

Press the SEARCH/SPEED DIAL key.

Use the dial pad to enter the location (Speed Dial number) where want to add is stored on.

Press the SET key.
-
To erase the Group, repeatedly press the CLEAR key until all its numbers are deleted.

To erase one One Touch or Speed Dial number from the Group, follow these steps:

Press the LEFT OR RIGHT ARROW key to position the cursor where under the character you want to delete.

Press the CLEAR key to delete the character.
-
Press the SET key.

Do one of the following:

If there is no existing Group name and you do not want one, go to STEP 8.

If there is no existing Group name, you can use the dial pad to enter one. The name can be up to 15 characters long.

To store the Group with the existing name, go to STEP 8.

If there is an existing Group name, you can follow these steps to change it:

Press the LEFT OR RIGHT ARROW key to position the cursor where you want to insert a new character.

Type the character you want to insert.
-
If there is an existing Group name, you can follow these steps to delete it:

Press the LEFT ARROW key to position the cursor at the beginning of the Group name.
-
Repeatedly press the CLEAR key to delete the Group name.
-
Press the SET key.

Do one of the following:

To change, delete, or store another Group, go back to STEP 2.

To finish changing or deleting a Group, press the STOP/EXIT key.
