"This pattern cannot be loaded as the pattern extends out of the editable area." message appears on the LCD. What does it mean?

This message is displayed when the sample stitch pattern that you try to add with the MY CUSTOM STITCH function extends out of the stitching area.

Select a different stitch pattern, or delete the existing stitch pattern (point).
