How do I pull up the bobbin thread?

There may be some sewing applications where you want to pull up the bobbin thread; for example, when making gathers, darts, or doing free motion quilting or embroidery.

You can pull up the bobbin thread after threading the upper thread. Refer to “How do I thread my machine ?” to thread the machine with the upper thread and thread the needle.

  1. Touch key to lock all keys and buttons and raise the presser foot.

If the message " OK to automatically lower the presser foot? " appears on the LCD screen, touch [OK] to continue.

  2. Slide the bobbin cover latch to the right and remove the bobbin cover.

  3. Hold the bobbin with your right hand and hold the end of the thread with your left hand. Set the bobbin in the bobbin case so that the thread unwinds to the left.
