Delete numbers stored in my Brother machine's Caller ID History.

Your Brother machine's Caller ID History stores information for up to 30 faxes and telephone calls. When the 31st call is received, it replaces information about the first call.


You can manually delete individual numbers from the Caller ID History by following these steps:

*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps under "For touchscreen models" below.

  1. Press the FAX key to illuminate it.

  2. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose Caller ID Hist.

  3. Press the OK key.

  4. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose the number you want to delete.

  5. Press the OK key.

  6. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose Delete.

  7. Press the OK key.

  8. Press 1 to confirm the deletion.

  9. Press the STOP/EXIT key.

 

<For touchscreen models>

  1. Press button1(CALL HISTORY) or Call_History or History on the touch screen.

  2. Press CALLER ID HIST.

  3. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to display the name or number you want to delete.

  4. Press the name or number you want to delete.

  5. Press MORE.

  6. Press DELETE.

  7. Press YES to confirm the deletion.

  8. Press the STOP/EXIT key.
